Biography

Rachel is an associate at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine P.L., with a primary focus on probate, trust and guardianship disputes.

 

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Rachel was of counsel at a boutique litigation firm where she handled sophisticated criminal defense and professional licensure defense matters and gained extensive experience litigating in both state and federal court. In addition, she led negotiations to resolution with opposing counsel for civil parties and government agencies using traditional and restorative justice methods.

Previously, Rachel served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office in the Child Abuse and Sexual Battery Unit, providing legal guidance and recommendations to state agencies on various matters related to their operations and policies. Rachel is an active trial attorney and has tried more than 35 cases before a jury.

Rachel earned her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Race and Social Justice Law Review. She obtained her B.A. in Jewish studies, cum laude, from Connecticut College.

Rachel contributes to educational development through her involvement with the Ransom Everglades School Young Benefactors Society and promotes diversity within the legal profession as a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Diversity Committee. Beyond law, she shares her passion for fitness by instructing indoor cycling, yoga and Pilates, and serving as a running coach.
