Biography
Amy K. Brown maintains a civil and commercial litigation practice in state and federal courts, with experience spanning complex business disputes, professional liability claims, and contract disputes. She has represented clients across a wide range of industries, handling trials, appeals, and negotiated resolutions.
Before entering private practice, Amy clerked for the Honorable Paul W. Grimm of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She began her legal career at Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., later practicing with Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, and Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine until 2017.
Known for being a people-person with strong problem-solving skills, Amy brings a natural curiosity and drive to her practice, allowing her to navigate complex challenges and deliver practical, effective solutions for her clients.
Amy earned her J.D. with Honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she served as President of her graduating class, a member of the nationally ranked Trial Team, and Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender & Class. She holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Business from Pennsylvania State University.
She is admitted to the bars of Florida and Maryland and has been recognized by Super Lawyers, most recently in the 2025 Florida Super Lawyers list, after being named a “Rising Star” from 2009 to 2011.
