Biography

Daniel Herrera is an Associate at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L., where he focuses on complex commercial litigation along with probate, trust, and guardianship disputes.

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Daniel gained valuable litigation experience with Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, where he represented a diverse client base, including developers, contractors, and foreign commodities importers. Daniel has argued multiple hearings in state court and participated in a mock hearing before the Honorable Paul Huck of the Southern District of Florida where he argued a motion to dismiss for forum non conveniens. He also contributed to a large civil RICO case by drafting motions, legal memoranda, and organizing e-discovery.

Previously, Daniel served as a law clerk at MasTec, where he reviewed and recommended changes to construction and commercial agreements. His background also includes roles in capital markets research, digital fundraising, and corporate strategy consulting.

Daniel earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the Trial Team and received the Director’s Book Award for Excellence in Litigation Skills and the CALI Award in Florida Criminal Procedure. He holds a B.A. in Psychology, cum laude, from New York University, where he minored in Economics and was recognized as a University Honors Scholar.

Daniel is fluent in Spanish with basic knowledge of Italian.
