Biography

Halyna Hnatkiv is an Associate at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L., focusing on complex commercial litigation, employment law, and probate, trust, and guardianship disputes.

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Halyna was a Litigation Associate at Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP in Miami, FL, where she worked on complex commercial disputes, alternative dispute resolution, and government investigations. Halyna also represented pro bono clients in immigration and veterans benefits matters, assisting asylum applicants with individual hearings and veterans with discharge upgrade applications.

During law school, Halyna served as an Extern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, assisting on criminal division matters, and as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Donna Keim, of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, specializing in civil litigation issues.

Halyna earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2022 and her B.A. in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of Florida in 2019. Halyna is admitted to the Florida Bar and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Originally from Ukraine, Halyna is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, and in her free time enjoys pilates, reading, and traveling.
