Marissa A. Reichel is an associate at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L., focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Marissa served as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. Marissa represented hundreds of adult and juvenile clients accused of felony offenses and tried numerous jury and bench trials. Previously, Marissa was an associate at an international law firm in New York, where she worked on high-stakes commercial litigation matters.

Marissa graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law and was recognized as a Robert McKay Scholar. While in law school, Marissa participated in the Criminal Defense and Reentry Clinic and Advanced Family Defense Clinic, and interned at the Center for Family Representation, where she represented parents in family court. Marissa also served as a judicial intern to Judge Bruce Selya of the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Marissa received her A.B. in Sociology cum laude from Harvard College, where she served as Captain of the Women’s Varsity Lightweight Rowing team and was a CRCA Scholar Athlete and Lightweight All-American.

Marissa is admitted to practice in Florida and New York. She enjoys tennis, paddleboarding, and Miami’s art scene.
