Biography
Steve Silverman is a founding member of Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine and Co-Chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice, with four decades of trial and appellate experience. Before co-founding the firm, Steve served as Chair of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and as co-founder of the Distressed Asset Group as part of the firm’s earlier evolution. Over his career, Steve has represented individuals and businesses in intricate disputes in federal and state courts nationwide, including cases involving all manner of contract disputes, complex commercial and business litigation, unfair and deceptive trade practice claims, tortious interference, lender liability, corporate governance and membership interests, condominium association and commercial real estate litigation, class actions, receiverships, and appellate matters.
Steve also heads Kluger Kaplan’s Electronic Discovery Group, following the latest trends and case law in electronic discovery issues at both the state and federal levels.
