Named after Professor Smith, the $10,000 scholarship — and summer clerkship at the firm — are intended to create a more diverse workforce by supporting minority law students who demonstrate a strong connection to the South Florida community.
FIU 2L Briana Harris (’24) was the inaugural scholarship recipient and joins the firm as a summer associate this year.
