Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine Elevates Attorney Michael Landen to Shareholder

MIAMI, May 28, 2024 – South Florida litigation firm Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine has elevated partner Michael Landen to the position of Shareholder, effective April 1. Landen joined the firm in 2000 and has been a partner since 2013. In his role as a voting shareholder, Landen will play a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s mission of delivering exceptional legal services to its clients.

Landen specializes in commercial litigation and labor and employment law. His practice focuses on navigating complex legal landscapes, including ADA compliance, COBRA issues, discrimination and harassment claims, and employment contracts. Landen is adept at handling FLSA matters, retaliation claims, and a wide array of general business disputes. He offers comprehensive representation before key agencies – including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Department of Labor, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation – and assists in developing compliance strategies and policies that mitigate legal risks.  

Landen assists employers comply with federal and state employment laws and implement preventive measures to avoid litigation, including the formulation of personnel policies and procedures. Additionally, he has conducted training seminars on, among other things, prevention of discrimination and harassment in the workplace and wage and hour compliance. Landen earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1998, where he was an active member of the Nova Law Review, and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida.
