By October 3, 2022

MIAMI – October 3, 2022 – South Florida’s preeminent litigation firm, Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine P.L., is bolstering its Trust & Estates and Commercial Practices with the addition of two new attorneys, Madeleine Elser and Madison Hauser. Ms. Elser focuses her practice on probate, trust and guardianship disputes, and Ms. Hauser is a complex commercial litigation attorney.

Kluger Kaplan’s expansion comes amidst an uptick in demand for trust and estate as well as business litigation in Florida, as more companies and residents move to the Sunshine State. Last year, twice as many new businesses opened in Florida compared to the Northeast, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The state also welcomed 220,000 new residents that same year, the largest growth in home buyer migration in the country.

“As a South Florida firm, we have never seen this much demand for trust and estate and business litigation services as a result of more wealthy individuals and businesses migrating here. Madeleine and Madison’s impressive experience working on complex probate and commercial disputes will be of value to current and prospective clients, and we’re excited to welcome them to the team during this time of firm growth,” said Alan J. Kluger, founding partner at Kluger Kaplan.

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Ms. Elser was an attorney at a boutique law firm in Miami, Florida, where she specialized in probate, trust and guardianship litigation. Previously, she worked as a Law Clerk at a probate and estate planning law firm in Coral Gables, Florida. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Maria M. Korvick in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Probate Division in Florida.

She is a member of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section; The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division; and the Dade County Bar Association.

Ms. Hauser has experience working on various civil litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal court. Before joining Kluger Kaplan, she served as a law clerk at a Miami-based trial and appellate firm. Previously, Ms. Hauser worked as a summer associate at Kluger Kaplan.

Ms. Hauser earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. While pursuing her degree on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, she served as Senior Writing Editor for the University of Miami Law Review and was involved with the Cardozo Jewish Legal Society. Ms. Hauser received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
