Kluger Kaplan Silverman Katzen & Levine Promotes Jamie Zuckerman to Partner

Miami-based litigation firm Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine announces that Jamie Zuckerman has been named partner of the firm. Ms. Zuckerman focuses her practice primarily on complex litigation, including commercial litigation and trust and estate litigation, assisting clients in a range of business and corporate litigation matters, trust and estate disputes, and appellate matters.

Ms. Zuckerman has been an associate at Kluger Kaplan for six years. During her tenure at the firm, she has practiced extensively in state and federal courts throughout South Florida and nationwide. She has worked side-by-side with the firm’s founding members on a number of high profile cases, including: Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. et al. v. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.; the litigation involving the bankruptcy of Fontainebleau Las Vegas and the related adversary proceedings; the litigation surrounding the estate of heiress Gail Posner; and many others.
In the community, Ms. Zuckerman is a board member of the Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation. She is also a member of The Florida Bar Appellate Law Section, American Bar Association and Dade County Bar Association.

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Ms. Zuckerman served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary M. Farmer in the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach. Before entering law, she worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young in New York City.
Ms. Zuckerman received her juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where she graduated magna cum laude and served as the articles editor for the Nova Law Review. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tulane University where she also graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Zuckerman was named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in 2013, 2015 and 2016, and an Up and Comer Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine in 2013. She is licensed to practice in both Florida and New York.
