Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine Welcomes Two New Attorneys

MIAMI – March 11,  2022 – South Florida’s preeminent litigation firm, Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine P.L., has welcomed two new attorneys: Yasbel Perez and Marissa A. Reichel. Ms. Perez and Ms. Reichel join as associates, focusing on complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Ms. Perez was an associate at a full-service law firm in Miami, where she focused on civil litigation cases as well as bankruptcy cases. Ms. Perez also completed internships with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the City of Miami for the Office of Former District 4 Commissioner Francis Suarez. Previously, she worked as a summer associate at a local law firm in Miami, where she practiced commercial litigation and international arbitration 

Ms. Perez graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law with a concentration in Litigation & Dispute Resolution. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Thomas University. Ms. Perez is a member of the Florida State Bar and has been recognized on Florida’s Super Lawyers Rising Star list. 

Ms. Reichel served as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office prior to joining Kluger KaplanShe represented hundreds of adult and juvenile clients accused of felony offenses and tried numerous jury and bench trials. Previously, she was an associate at an international law firm in New York, where she worked on high-stakes commercial litigation matters. 

Ms. Reichel graduated Cum Laude from New York University School of Law and was recognized as a Robert McKay Scholar. While in law school, she also interned at the Family Defense Clinic & Advanced Family Defense Clinic in New York, representing parents accused of child abuse and neglect in Family Court. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Harvard University where she graduated Cum Laude. She is admitted to the Florida and New York State Bars.
