MIAMI, FL – South Florida preeminent litigation firm Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L. is keeping pace with rising demand by expanding its litigation capabilities with the addition of two new attorneys. The firm’s latest hires – Evan Dubow and Daniel Herrera – bring a range of experience in complex commercial litigation, financial fraud, probate and guardianship matters, and insurance disputes.
“Our latest class of attorneys reflects the caliber of talent being drawn to South Florida and the continued strength of our core practice areas,” said Founding Partner Alan Kluger. “Both of these attorneys brings a high level of skill, insight, and energy to the firm, and we’re proud to be a destination for top litigators at every stage of their careers.”
This wave of hiring underscores Kluger Kaplan’s position as one of Florida’s most active and respected litigation firms, with a broad practice spanning commercial, real estate, probate, and class action litigation.
Evan Dubow focuses on commercial litigation involving financial fraud, economic torts, and securities disputes. A former FINRA and federal court litigator, he brings deep experience representing businesses in high-stakes disputes. Dubow’s prior work at a national litigation firm and service at the Investor Rights Clinic underscores his commitment to advocacy and financial justice.
Dubow earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an editor of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review and received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Banking Law. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Legal Studies from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
Daniel Herrera brings a litigation background that spans probate, trust, guardianship, and complex business matters. Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, Herrera gained valuable litigation experience with Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, where he represented a diverse client base, including developers, contractors, and foreign commodities importers. He gained in-house experience at MasTec, where he reviewed and recommended revisions to construction and commercial agreements. His background also includes roles in capital markets research, digital fundraising, and corporate strategy consulting.
Herrera received his B.A. in Psychology, cum laude from New York University before earning his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the Trial Team and received the Director’s Book Award for Excellence in Litigation Skills and the CALI Award in Florida Criminal Procedure. Herrera is fluent in Spanish and recognized for his excellence in litigation skills.
These additions follow the recent hiring of Jean-Pierre Bado, Briana Harris, Halyna Hnatkiv, and Samantha Medina, whose collective experience spans commercial litigation, class actions, real estate, corporate matters, and employment law. The firm expects continued momentum as South Florida remains one of the country’s most active legal markets due to population growth, business migration, and investment activity.
