Kluger Kaplan Attorneys Celebrate Summer With a Road Rally

Last week, Kluger Kaplan hosted a summer outing at Xtreme Indoor Karting.  Our competitive natures kicked into high gear as attorneys raced each other on the go-cart track for bragging rights.

The Demise of the Economic Loss Rule: How Will This Impact Business Litigants?

Last week, the Florida Supreme Court put the final nail in the coffin of the dying economic loss rule.  In the landmark case Tiara Condominium Ass’n, Inc. v. Marsh & Mclennan Co., Inc., the Florida Supreme Court took advantage of a certified question from the 11th Circuit to hold that  “the application of the economic loss rule is limited to products liability cases.”

Justin B. Kaplan Selected as Among the Top “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County”

On November 3, Kluger Kaplan associate Justin B. Kaplan was recognized as among the “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  Justin was selected for this recognition as a result of his outstanding representation of clients in complex business disputes, charity work, dedication of his profession, work ethic, outstanding leadership, and positive impact on the community.  As part of his commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Justin raised over $15,000 for the foundation to cure, control and improve the quality of life of those with the disease.  Congratulations, Justin!
